After a PhD thesis on kinetic instabilities in plasmas, I had two short-term contracts in Polytechnique (LUIL, France) and in Stanford (SLAC, California). I have then been hired at CEA in 2016 where I work on laser-plasma instabilities and associated dispersion relations. In order to improve our understanding and predicting capabilities of Laser Mégajoule-class experiments, my goal is to account, in my models, for the micro-structuration of these lasers and how it affects the laser-plasma interaction physics (stimulated backward/forward Brillouin scattering, laser filamentation and beam bending).
