Scientist
I am a senior expert scientist actively involved in the modeling of wave-particle interactions and their effects on the dynamics of energetic electrons in the Earth’s inner magnetosphere. I hava developed computer codes for the computation of wave-particle interactions. As such I am involved in the development of various electromagnetic wave models and plasma density models from satellite observations. I am also involved in deriving analytical solutions and estimates for various problems of the magnetosphere. I develop interests in global 3D MHD simulations of the entire magnetosphere and the transport of test particles during storm times. I am registered as international collaborators of the Center for Geospace Storms at the Applied Physics Laboratory of the Johns Hopkins University.
