Following an engineering degree at École polytechnique and a master degree in astrophysics at the Observatoire de Paris, I engaged in a PhD in numerical and theoretical physics at the Laboratoire de Physique des Plasmas, in Palaiseau, focusing on turbulence in astrophysical plasmas. After I obtained my PhD diploma in 2021, I did a two-year post-doctorate in experimental physics at ONERA, in Palaiseau, where I was tasked with adapting a micro-wave source to an electron cyclotron resonance thruster for satellite propulsion. Then, I entered the CEA DAM Île-de-France in early 2024, where I now study perturbations mechanisms in the Earth’s magnetosphere and radiations belts following high energy events such as strong solar winds. I also develop AI surrogate models to efficiently predict the main output parameters of complete physics simulation programs, which are in themselves very resource intensive.
