I obtained my PhD in plasma physics in 2008, under the direction of Pr. Vladimir Tikhonchuk. I am theoretician in laser/plasma interaction. I worked on relativistic electron acceleration and transport through solid targets and the associated XUV emissions either produced by bremsstrahlung, line and transition emissions and relativistic plasma mirror. I also worked on electron-ion acceleration and on THz emissions by laser/gas interaction. Since 2015, my investigation topics, linked to inertial confinement fusion, aim at describing the propagation of spatially and temporally smoothed laser beams through large-scale plasmas. The latter essentially requires an accurate and consistent description of the different absorption mechanisms together with the plethora of wave couplings in magneto hydrodynamic plasmas. All these theoretical studies are carried out by means of hydrodynamic and kinetic codes. I also participate to the design and interpretation of experiments related to the aforementioned topics.
