My research work is related to the high energy density physics which is useful for describing various types of laboratory plasmas as well as a wide variety of astrophysical objects. My field of expertise concerns the modeling and the simulation of the microscopic and spectral properties of hot plasmas of multi-charged ions whatever their thermodynamic state. In connection with spectroscopic diagnostic issues, I am currently studying the spectral properties of particular plasmas where, transiently, the electronic energy state distributions are not at thermal equilibrium.
