After obtaining a PhD in nuclear physics in 2005, I completed a two-year post-doctoral stay at GANIL (France) during which I worked on the SPEG and VAMOS magnetic spectrometers in the field of low energy nuclear structure. I joined the CEA/DAM in 2007 to strengthen the nuclear structure activity. After a few years of studying neutron-rich nuclei, mainly around the N=28 shell closure, my activities gradually evolved towards fission. First, I carried out studies on the spectroscopy of fission fragments and then became interested in the fission process itself. One of the specificities of my work in this area is linked to the use of cold fission. Another part of my activity is linked to development of the SFyNCS program aimed at determining the gamma strength functions and level densities in nuclei of interest.
