My research activities focus on studying the warm dense matter regime. This thermodynamic domain is characterized by high density energy, located between the solid and cinetic plasma states. Most of my works are led from an experimental point of view, either on high pulsed power discharge bench or on high power laser facilities. Conducted experiments aim at gathering shocked and relaxed states of several metallic materials, explore their phase diagrams under extreme and dynamic loadings, and study related equations of state. Besides, I also work on material modeling and perform hydrodynamic simulations for reproducing laser-shock and high pulsed power experiments.
