Paul DUMAS

Scientist

Emeritus Research Director at the CNRS. Activities:

  • Extraction and exploitation of synchrotron radiation in the field of infrared.
  • Infrared beamline at LURE, designing synchrotron infrared activity in the field of microscopy at the Soleil synchrotron (from 2004).
  • Line SMIS until 2014.
  • More specific scientific activity, in collaboration with Paul LOUBEYRE and Florent OCCELLI, in spectroscopy high pressure infrared (since 2010).
  • Scientific advisor to the CEA, in collaboration with the SOLEIL synchrotron.
  • Development of an experimental station integrating the infrared and Raman spectroscopy in static and dynamic mode (time resolution of a few microseconds).
