I obtained my PhD from Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, specializing in Solid State Physics, in 1987, and joined CEA DAM in 1990. I have devoted a large part of my career to calculating data (equations of state) for hydrodynamic codes, initially for solid-state materials, then, since joining CEA DAM Ile-de-France, for hot plasmas. This led me to take a more specific interest in dense and warm states of matter, which lie at the interface between these two domains. I am currently conducting research on the transport properties of materials under these conditions, drawing on my experience in solid state physics to develop a continuous model of electrical conductivity, from the solid state to plasma.
