William WEENS
Scientist
William Weens is a Research Engineer and PhD in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing, William Weens works in a team at CEA whose objective is to implement numerical methods for HPC codes.
With several years of experience in production codes, his research themes revolve around the search for the best compromise between robustness, accuracy and performance in all aspects of a multi-physics production code.
William Weens has (co-)supervised students in internship and thesis and his latest numerical publications were interested in the problems of rounding errors in advection schemes.
