My research is mainly devoted to study the dynamic behaviour of materials at high pressure. For this purpose, I perform detonation and shock physics experiments using different loading devices including guns (gas or poder), explosives and high power lasers. These experiments are carried out on dedicated CEA facilities or on large instruments (ESRF, LULI, EuXFEL, …) and are analyzed with numerical simulations performed at different scales (ab initio and MD simulations, hydrodynamic codes).
